    1. When selecting the diameter of the graphite electrode, please refer to the current load and current density allowed by the electrode.
    2. The transportation and storage of graphite electrodes should prevent rain, snow and water from getting wet and must be dried before use.
    3. During the loading and unloading and transportation process, the graphite electrode should be handled gently and protected to prevent the impact and damage. A special spreader can be used during loading and unloading.
    4. Before connecting the new electrode and joint, the threaded hole of the electrode must be cleaned with compressed air, and then the joint and electrode should be installed as required. When the end faces of the two electrodes are different by 20-30 mm, the second soot is performed, and the electrode and the joint are tightened.
    5. If the electrode is lifted with an iron joint, make sure that the connector thread does not deform and avoid damage to the electrode thread.
    6. When the electrodes are connected, use the torque value of the torque wrench to connect the motor.
    7. The electrode lifting device of the electric furnace should not be shaken during operation to prevent the electrode joint from loosening or breaking.
    8. The electrode holder must hold the electrode within the safety wire of the electrode.

    9. In order to prevent the electrode from being broken when the unmelted charge collapses, the electrode should be lifted in time according to the melting condition, and the undissolved scrap is pushed into the furnace.
